Do I read minds? šHell no! | #LetsTalkTherapy Ep.1 Ft. Niti Gupta
As a Psychotherapist, I am often asked about (and feared for) any mind-reading skills I might have. I donāt. My kind of work still remains a mystery for a lot of us, and rightly so. There isnāt a lot of content available that explains what I do; what kind of people therapists work with; when to reach out to a therapist; and how we therapists can help you. You may also be in for a surprise if therapy makes you think of only lying on a couch talking about your childhood; and therapists as oracles. Which is why I decided to do this series called āLetās Talk Therapy.ā I hope after watching these short films, we would be able to understand this vital service that we all need at some point in our lives. Psychotherapy and Counselling are for all of us, and the more we know about these, the happier we shall be.
